As the wife of a law enforcement officer and the mother of a young daughter, I’ve experienced firsthand what it feels like when bedtime does not always happen with everyone at home.
There were nights when my husband was working late, covering an overnight shift, or responding to a SWAT call. Nights when our daughter wanted one more hug, one more story, or simply wanted her daddy home.
Like so many families, we learned that service often comes with sacrifice. Law enforcement officers, military members, healthcare workers, first responders, and countless others regularly miss meaningful moments with the people they love most.
That reality inspired one simple question:
‘What if a child could still hear the voice they love, even when that person could not be there?’
From that question, kosleep was born.
